State of Pixel Advertising

In general there is only a few news about pixel advertising and pixel pages in popular news publications. But it is an active sphere. At our homepage we got daily visitors and even daily new customers. Recently an analysis of own logfiles for other homepages has shown that other pixel pages are active, too, by referring new visitors. This is due for various topics, good news and has given reason for a brief research. And indeed, while using digg.com niche news stories have been found immediately while using the term "pixel page". And it seems to be obviously that those little pixel banners do have similarities to those social media buttons or profile icons giving graphic designers a challenge. Some fun stuff is here.
