Pixel Advertising RoundUp

Here are some interesting additions related to formerly posted topics. At the following there are the most interesting cases and on text links the most successful pages mentioned.

Pixel Ads as supplemental Income Opportunity for Web Publishers
(Related: Pixel Advertising Business Cases)

This is the most interesting part, as there are some serious web services to be named. At first there are BlogShares Pixels. BlogShares.com is a well known fantasy market for blogs and social networking site, where users do "invest" in the popularity of weblogs and are able to introduce their own blogs.

BradFallon.com is a weblog of a SEO Expert with up to date marketing information. There is a banner at the top, which obviously sells well.

opsdo is a nice search enigne, by which one is able to access various information resources. There is an individually designed pixel space at the top.

Link Pages and Tagging
(Related: 10xn Links, PixelAds Alternative)

KingOfTheBill.com has a very own concept on offering text link advertising. The page started selling a link for one dollar. Every successor has to pay one dollar more. There are 70 ads sold and the price is 71 Dollars to add a link now. The latest ad is also promoted by a banner at the top. Something similar is done by Link Experiment.

The Tag Concept seems to be very successful, where pages are designed similar to tagclouds of social networking sites. 1000tags.com, TagsPage, TagSponsor.com and TagTerms.com are full with booked links, which might be offered for free or as premium ads.

Related to the discussion about the seriousity of pixel advertising mentioned at Pixel Pages, the ongoing Development by the above examples one can state that the pixel advertising concept has become earnest on a broader reach within the last year. So I close this posting with recommending our regularily visited pixel page offering ads for just one dollar a block: MillionPixelMirror.com.
